A previously unknown extortion gang calling itself ExfilSquad claims responsibility and is demanding payment to avoid publishing the full dataset. Newport — Major Industrial Estate Fire Also Disrupts Local Water Supply

Status: Ongoing. Ten fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were called to a large blaze at Star Trading Estate in Caerleon, Newport, at around 2.40am this morning. South Wales Fire and Rescue Service has evacuated the site, confirmed everyone is accounted for, and is working alongside Gwent Police — Ponthir Road (B4236) is closed between Malthouse Lane and the trading estate. Public Health Wales is advising nearby households to keep windows and doors closed. Some residents have also reported yellow or discoloured water and low pressure; Welsh Water says some properties nearby may have no water or reduced pressure, with supplies expected fully restored by early afternoon. Suffolk — Wildfire Grows to 150 Hectares, National Trust Launches Restoration Appeal
